About Us

Dah Father’s Project is not a programme. It is not a brand. It is an assignment; one that began in the heart of God long before anyone was ready to carry it.

We exist for one reason: to ensure that no teenager navigates the most defining years of their life without spiritual grounding, emotional support, and a community that genuinely believes in who they are becoming.

Founded in 2019–2020 by Olufunmilola Udenewu, DFP has grown from a quiet, obedient yes into a living, breathing family of young people who are learning to walk in purpose; one honest conversation, one prayer, one encounter at a time.

We believe the teenage years are not a problem to survive; they are a window of extraordinary potential. When young people are met in that window with truth, grace, and genuine community, something irreversible happens: they begin to see themselves the way God sees them. And a teenager who knows who they are is unstoppable.

DFP exists to make that encounter possible; at scale, with intentionality, and with the kind of love that stays.

Our Vision

A generation of teenagers and young adults who are spiritually grounded, emotionally whole, and purposefully guided.

"I told God plainly, 'I am not worthy. I'm still trying to get my own life together.' And God answered me clearly; that was exactly why He chose me."
Olufunmilola Udenewu, Founder, Dah Father's Project

Where It All Began

DFP did not begin with a polished plan or a board of directors. It began during a season of personal imperfection.

In 2017, while on her NYSC service year in Ibadan, Olufunmilola was navigating her own unsettled spiritual journey; still figuring things out, still wrestling with God. But young people around her kept showing up with their deepest struggles, and the words that came out of her in those moments brought healing she hadn’t planned to give.

She resisted the call for years. Through dreams, spiritual confirmations, and the counsel of a trusted spiritual father, the assignment became undeniable. By 2019–2020, following her marriage, she stepped into it fully; launched the website, documented the vision, and began the work.

What she never expected was to fall in love with teenagers. She used to say she was not a “children person.” Today, they are her babies. And the DFP family has been growing ever since.

Whether you feel called to give, to mentor, to pray, or simply to show up; there is a place for you in this family. DFP grows through people who recognise the value of this generation and choose to invest in them.

This work did not begin by coincidence, and neither did you landing on this page.
